Create a mobile product that connects activity in the field to the operation behind it.

Mobile applications designed for work away from a desk.

Banyan builds mobile products for customers, staff, field teams, and public users. We define the right product, connect it to the systems behind the operation, and design for the devices and conditions where it will be used.

Product planning, application design, backend integration, device testing, and release support.

Start with context

The right mobile product depends on where and how it will be used.

A field workflow with intermittent connectivity has different requirements from a customer account app or public information service. Banyan evaluates users, devices, notifications, camera or location needs, security, offline behavior, and release constraints before choosing an implementation path.

Mobile product scenarios

Mobile products connected to real services and operations.

Each scenario joins a focused mobile experience to the backend, people, and decisions that complete the work.

How the work moves

From product definition to a supportable release.

Store submission, rollout, analytics, monitoring, and post-launch support are scoped explicitly rather than treated as assumptions.

  1. 01Use case

    Define the mobile use case

Identify users, physical context, device needs, connectivity, data, and useful first-release boundaries.

  2. 02Platform

    Choose the delivery approach

Compare native, cross-platform, and web delivery against product and maintenance needs.

  3. 03Product

    Build and connect

Develop the mobile experience, backend behavior, supported integrations, and administrative controls.

  4. 04Release

    Test, release, and improve

Verify representative devices and workflows, define release ownership, and support iteration.

FAQ

Straight answers before the first conversation.

Scope, platform, integrations, and ownership are made explicit before a larger commitment.

Does Banyan build for both iOS and Android?

Banyan can plan products for both platforms. The implementation approach is selected from product requirements, budget, device capabilities, and long-term maintenance needs.

Can a mobile app connect to our existing system?

Yes, if the system provides a supported integration or data path. Banyan can also build the backend and administrative tools when the product requires them.

Do we need a mobile app, or would a web app work?

Not every mobile idea needs an app-store product. Banyan compares installation, offline use, notifications, device access, distribution, updates, and maintenance first.

Can Banyan take over an existing mobile application?

Potentially. The first step is a technical and product review of source code, build process, accounts, backend, release history, defects, and ownership.
